Kimberly King is CoFounder and Chief Executive Officer of One Island Institute. An internationally recognized social entrepreneur, Kimberly is a strategy consultant and global change agent in the diverse fields of sustainability and innovation ecosystems; multi-sector partnerships and civic engagement; CSR strategies and regenerative communities, financial services and impact investing, and the empowerment of women & youth.

King’s unique perspective reflects 25 years as a pioneer in whole-systems thinking and development representing trade associations, Fortune 500’s, govts; arts & media, NGO’s and the United Nations. Clients & partners include: American Express, AT&T, Coca-Cola, AARP, Credit Union National Association, Los Angeles Economic Development Corp, the World Trade Center Association, UNESCO, UNICEF and UNFPA. King’s innovative models and marketing strategies have generated $4 billion USD for clients/partners to date.

Ms. King is President of The Peace Company and CoFounder of WIESD – Women in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Development. She has been a founder/lead organizer of numerous networks &  organizations including the Global Action Network,  Women Uniting, Franchise for Humanity, and Stand Up and Vote. She serves on the Board of Advisors for the International Women’s ThinkTank, The Interfaith Observer, Alliance for Peacebuilding, US Women Connect, and is an NGO Liaison to the United Nations Commission on Women. 

Kimberly is a an international speaker, dialogue convener and media producer, and the co-author of multiple books including  “CreditWise”, “MoneyWise” and “The Power of Team” from the best selling series “Wake Up, Live the Life You Love.” Kimberly has worked and traveled to nearly 70 countries and is an honored recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Global Humanitarian Award.
